This lens looks solid and well designed. The focus control ring is well cushioned but has little play when trying to focus sharply and the image moves very little between turning the focus ring clockwise and counter-clockwise. Focus at infinity corresponds to the marker. The aperture ring is well-damped and comfortable to use. While there is some degree of chromatic aberration - in both magenta and green - it's easy to remove in post-processing, but detracts from image sharpness in those areas. The lens' true strength lies in its image resolution, which delivers finer detail and greater contrast at a 1:1 aspect ratio, resulting in a more pleasing image compared to Canon's native 11-22 ef-m lens. I would give this lens 5 stars if chromatic aberrations were better controlled, but unfortunately my specimen disappoints in this area. Coming with a Rokinon 8mm fisheye lens and a Rokinon 12mm lens for my Canon M3, this lens is a great addition to my kit.
