Review on Maxi-Cosi Zelia™²Max: The Ultimate 5-in-1 Modular Travel System by Bella Rodriguez

Despite my poorly formed box and mishandling upon delivery, the product showed no physical signs of damage. I really like the combination of stroller and infant carrier. I counted the numbers and what I was looking for in the stroller was tested in almost every area. I love how the cradle converts very easily into a toddler seat with just a few clicks and/or releases in between. I was skeptical of the bassinet myself considering how long or how often I would use it, so turning a toddler into a bassinet is amazing. You can also double the bassinet as a mini bed to make your sleeping baby more comfortable, not just your baby. The carrycot is huge but covers the entire frame of the stroller so nothing is bulky or protrudes from the frame. The cradle doesn't stand up on its own, a small sacrifice to use the seat as both a toddler seat and a cradle in one. The conversion between baby seat and toddler seat is very easy. Another amazing thing about this product is that it comes with EVERYTHING you need without having to buy any additional attachments. The child car seat comes with a car base. The car seat handle is not exactly ergonomic when pressed in upright and lying position. Although the design of the handle is convenient when you carry the car seat on your arm, the handle gets caught behind the car seat backrest and in the shade. I have a hard time coordinating the handle with both hands to click and rotate the handle vertically while holding the handle over the back and lampshade material. Maybe it's easier when there's a kid in it to make it heavier for some leverage. You just have to twist it a bit to get a grip on the material - I won't lie, it takes a little more than "just playing around". When the stroller is folded without fixing the seat, it folds quite thin and stands by itself. It's nice that it folds down with the seat attached, however it needs to be in the forward-facing position to fold properly, but it's a handy option. I went for the Topia Tan option. I've tried to capture the shade of the tan, the photos show it's a super tan/beige. In fact, most of the material is gray in color. The only parts that appear "brown" are just the visor of the infant carrier and only the cushions in the infant carrier and bassinet. The rest of the material has a shade of light gray to gray on both. I was trying to capture the difference between two shades side by side. I was hoping for a slightly more "khaki" color. But that's ok, I had two strollers in my shopping cart and had to either pay for a color with less comfort or sacrifice color for a more attractive and cost-effective product, but still got closer to the color palette I originally wanted. The cushions on both seats are very soft and comfortable and can be removed for machine washing. Love the safety bar and leather handle. The handle adjusts to 4 extensions, I'm 5ft 5" and prefer the highest setting. I would say my angle is around 120 degrees. My arms are too long, that's probably why. It pushes insanely smoothly with virtually no effort, cornering and cornering is smooth with no wheels locking when trying to slice corners quickly. The braking system is decent, it's on one side, which locks both rear wheels at the same time. This is my third child and the last was almost 8 years ago when there were two brakes to lock and unlock. Lol the basket is quite big, it stretches to expand. The cup holder is cute, but I think I'll invest in some sort of handlebar cart for more storage.
