These are small towels. The packaging is beautiful and gift. The package contains 5 towels. They appear solid as if not easily torn apart. I found them soft to the touch. I used one to clean the bottom of my oven and it worked really well. Although it seems that cleaning them is better than wiping them. Although they are highly absorbent, when they get wet they simply squeeze out moisture, leaving streaks of liquid. They washed well, didn't lose their shape and stayed nice and flat. I took off a star because the edge of one of the towels frayed after washing. They also give off a strange smell when you first get wet. It's the smell of wet bamboo and I'm told that's normal, but to me it smells like burnt hair. Otherwise I like them a lot.
