Very easy to use. I got to the point where I was completely unable to put on a necklace many years ago (in my 40's) with arthritic hands and poor eyesight. I have so many beautiful pendants and hates that I couldn't wear them anymore. Until I found this one! I'm wearing necklaces again! They are so easy to put on and take off. And while you twist to lock them, they stay closed until you open them with another simple twist. The downside is they're ugly and clumsy, but if you keep them in the back under your hair, no one will see them.
