After watching another night of my BenQ's image deteriorating against yellowish painted wood panels I decided: Need urgently a projection screen. I only project a FireStick and the occasional extended laptop, but that was bad. BAD! Questions for my quest: was one of those cheaper "foldable" screens worth it if a bunch of their views are against white walls or poor quality (transparency does NOT work here)? Should I go all out and get a motorized screen? Dare I say gray screen? How about pull down? Or maybe an indoor/outdoor tripod? Fixed frame on vinyl? make frame? In the end, after several discussions with friends and family and considerations of space usage, I decided to install a permanent installation (not retractable or motorized) with at least one BLACK layer (double sided viewing wasn't an issue as it gets installed 99% of the time in the living room) and heavy fabrics. After reading MANY MANY reviews - by the way, you know how much harder it is to find a quality and affordable fabric screen for a 100" screen compared to a 120" - I came across this screen. I don't have many reviews or overview photos that give the picture. But it met my needs and worst case scenario I could still return it along with Prime. No need; it was fantastic from day one. Picture quality is excellent, even with the screen backlit; absence of foreign odors; cooperative tissue. The quality and weight of the product match the price perfectly. I had no concerns about the light transmission of the thin film like some other products on the market. Yes, it comes in the same bag as most other screws, but don't worry. As with any style of eyelet, the quality/pleat will depend on your fastener. I only have a permanent pair of creases on the left side of the screen. I used a hand steamer to remove some of the more visible creases, which weren't many just for common sense. Path). I didn't like the "spider web" effect on the screen that foldable screens have, but my dislike of creases outweighs that preference. I was also limited in screen height due to 8ft ceilings and 12-15ft span; The project is currently on a dresser behind the sofa, towards the back wall, and needs to be installed as well. I knew the hooks that come with the screen since they were in my house from some old photos; You simply drive the nails in and they are easy to remove. They come in a nice little plastic case, although I'm not sure why it has so many different compartments. There is also a rope. Use 3M command strips (my second option if I'm not too lazy to buy hooks) if you want a no-hole option, or make your own plywood mount. My only concern is that there is a sleeve in the same lower left area that is sewn with such an offset between the two sleeves on either side that it can be difficult to get a relatively "flat" bottom edge - hence a rewiring. If you're a pro at it or don't care, you won't have many problems. Still 5 stars, I would buy again.
