Thick, warm and she seems to like it but slips off easily. Not very flexible to stay firmly in place. I like that it's a bit longer than others I've seen. I wanted one that would cover the neck a bit, not just the ears. It's big and she's a miniature Great Dane so she'll fit a regular sized Great Dane and probably won't fall off that easily. It will probably fit a bulldog and with their big and round heads it won't fall off easily. Even though the head is so slim. So if you have a large/huge dog with a thin head (not round, fluffy or square) I would choose a medium sized one instead. I will go back and get a simple tie down muzzle for more practical use. but this one is still fun. She sticks her head out the windows of my truck and makes passers-by laugh. She's fawnakin (white with brown spots) so she looks a bit like a giraffe.
