This product embodies the idea of "form over function”. I admit that they are very attractive when it comes to scissors. I mean golden scissors!?!? Is it a screaming success or what? When I think of the pair of scissors Donald Trump has on his desk, I imagine them looking like this product. Right? But alas! We forgot that they're really meant to *cut* things, not just shine in a drawer. When it comes to cutting, these scissors are absolutely hopeless. In fact, they don't deserve to be called scissors. They are like the "demo towels" that mum and grandma hang on the towel rack in the guest bathroom. You're not there to dry things, they're for show. So unless you're buying those gold scissor-like items to add some sparkle to that antique desk in your living room (that's just for show), I suggest you go ahead.
