We are trying to teach our 3-year old colors. We ran across this set and had to try it out. Opening the box, we were pleasantly surprised by the nice cards that were included in the box. This was certainly a nice touch. The bags can be used for many different learning games, which keeps our child interested. A couple of the games we've already played were bean bag toss and corn hole. What we love:- This set is a durable set. The material is not thin fabric and it should hold up well over time.- The set comes with a nice bag to keep everything together and to make transporting easier.- Shapes are printed on one side, colors on the other which gives us options to teach shapes and colors together or seperately.- They are easy for our child to handle and toss.- Good value for the money. What we didn't like:- The purple diamond wasn't really purple. Instead it was more of magenta or maroon color.- Not all of the bags were filled equally. The star felt overstuffed to the point where it could split if handled too roughly. Others felt a bit understuffed, which makes it a bit harder to hold at times for our 3-year old.- The bear shape really doesn't fit in well with the other shapes. Every other shape is the shape of an object (square, triangle, etc.), the bear kind of is an odd addition because it is an animal. While this probably isn't too big of a deal, it was something I noticed.Overall, this is an exceptional set. The durability of this set would hold up well in any classroom setting. The many different ways in which you can teach children shapes and colors make this a valuable teaching tool.
