I bought this for beard grooming but also decided to try it on my (fine) hair as I don't have dedicated clippers and all Covid-19 happened . The small attachment is about 1 on a regular clipper and the large attachment is about 2. Since the trimmer has a good area on the dial, if you take your time you can get a pretty good fade. I'm not advocating using it as a dedicated hair cutting tool, but if you still have it for your beard, why not? Not sure about the others, but I just crank it up, put on the short bob, and head into town. Battery life will show with time, but for the price it packs a lot of features, especially in these strange times.
