Review on 🎧 High-Quality Audio-Technica AT-MONO3/LP Moving Coil Mono Cartridge - Japan Import by Christy Jones

I bought this cassette to use with my recently purchased Beatles in Mono LP set. I have other monos on vinyl but have never bothered with them before. An added benefit is that this is a moving coil cartridge rather than a moving magnet cartridge which typically has better sonic resolution and performance. I installed it on a Thorens TD 147 Mk. II (1985) on a spare TP63 arm I bought a while ago. The results are superb, a clear and bright soundstage, I thought it was a bit weak on the bass but browsing the mono collection found that wasn't the case. I'm using a NAD phono stage, make sure what you're using has MC pickup inputs. There is no other mono MC cartridge like this at this price point. It was worth the wait to bring it from Japan. I liked it so much that I decided to look for a stereo counterpart to install elsewhere.
