Review on πŸ’¨ Lasko 2535 52-Inch Oscillating Pedestal Fan: Powerful Cooling in Silver Gray by Kwame Bandepalli

Revainrating 3 out of 5

There isn't enough oscillation, you can't see the controls from the chair. Good fan apart from those things.

Something good/something bad. This fan would have earned 5 stars except: #1 The sweep angle (how far it travels left and right when swinging) is TOO SMALL. The fan oscillates about 25% of the circumference. This means, for example, if you place the fan directly in front of you, point it towards your face, stretch out both arms and swing the fan, the fan will blow away from your face towards the end of one arm. . That's all. He will then slap you in the face and stop. Most reciprocating fans blow almost from the end of one arm to the end of the other. #2 You can only read the digital display if you stand directly over the fan. Most pedestal fans have controls on the top BUT they tilt the top forward so you can see how each control is set from your chair in bed. Not this one. Either guess the settings or get up and check. None of these things are necessarily of major importance, but each of them is clearly a design flaw in my opinion. On the other hand, the fan is quiet at low speeds and not so noisy at high speeds. It doesn't move nearly as much air as a normal pedestal fan, but it's also half the size.
