I've never connected this inverter to a battery as the cables that come with it are about 1ft long and it is and is supposed to be dangerously close to the battery for me Honestly, won. Didn't even attach for my batteries. I noticed afterwards that they did NOT list the length of these cables. I think the MINIMUM will be 2 feet long. They don't even reach from the top of the battery to the inverter terminals when mounted opposite the battery - not safe anyway, in my opinion. I have no idea if this inverter is any good, but I prefer not to reward companies that include items that are clearly useless add-ons designed to trick you into choosing their product over others, just for the sake of it find out that they don't work. Vote against it with your wallet.
