I ordered this unit because I needed to extend my HDMI signal by about 90 feet. I connected a new CAT 6 ethernet cable from my dish network receiver to the remote TV. The device worked fine for the video signal but there was no audio signal. I've corresponded with the seller and tried various options to see if I can get it to work. It ended up not letting audio through. I sent the unit back to Revain and re-ordered a replacement unit from the supplier using a great discount code. The second unit worked great for both video and audio. I think the customer service from the supplier was excellent, except there seemed to be some language barrier. Am All is well in the end, although I've only had it up and running for 1 week. The receiver operates at about 98 degrees in a 68 degree room, while the transmitter unit is about 10 degrees colder. Some reviews report failure after a few weeks of use. I'll wait and see if this block proves durable over time. I recommend buying those that need to stretch HDMI over long distances.
