Review on Romero Laced Skate Shoe By Emerica by Kelvin Ward

Ordered the size 14 black/white version and it DIGS INTO YOUR ACHILLES. UNWEARABLE. EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE. This shoe causes blisters in less than a quarter mile of walking. I wouldn't wish shoes like this on my worst enemy. Imagine you are walking and someone is taking a torch to your the back of your foot. That's what this shoe is like. It's the worst shoe I have ever bought in my entire life.I have NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE THINKING with this shoe. I'm going to try and return it because I barely even walked 1/2 mile before I had to take them off and literally go barefoot. Look at the pictures. NOBODY has feet shaped like that! The heel is arched over in such a way it's not even possible to break these things in! They didn't even try these shoes out in 14. There is some kind of terrible miscalculation here.I've been a huge fan of Emerica shoes ever since I started skating (10 years) and never had a problem with any pair, even online orders. I am extremely dissappointed. I could barely even walk in the things, let alone skate. The construction is nice, the fit is perfect, the sole is great, style is awesome, but the shoe is just simply not wearable without completely destroying it and actually cutting the back of the shoe apart. Complete waste of time. I'll probably never order Emerica again. This is absolute madness.Edit: If you are poor like me and are basically stuck with these things the good news is you can actually cut the shoe and it will be actually wearable. The last two pictures show you can somewhat maintain the integrity of the shoe with the cut. A workaround at best, but hope that helps someone out there. I used a good sharp pair of fabric scissors and it worked out okay.
