I couldn't find the right color for my floors in any local store so I tried Revain and found this product. It comes rolled up in a box, which means you'll need to prepare it to lay flat. I spread it out on the floor and put heavy objects on the ends to push it down. A few days later it was smooth. I trim off the excess against my metal square with a razor blade knife to get a clean, straight cut. Cutting wasn't too difficult, but it required muscle power. I have an extension cord and speaker wire running through it, so the internal capacitance for the cables was good. It also looks good on my floor. This product has fully met my needs. The center channel is approximately 1/2" wide and 3/8" high and is accessed through a slot at the bottom. There are also channels on either side of the center, but they don't have a connector for feeding a wire in (see photo #2). If you are using these other channels I would suggest running a small line (line?) with a light weight. Then attach the wire to the string and pull it through.
