When I took the lid out of the box, it looked flimsy and of poor quality. I found it matched the armrest well and looked pretty good once installed. You will find a way to attach the ends of the material to the plastic base of the armrest. But once you do that, it will easily move on. I attached some of the material with a stapler as well as a few inch screws to secure the corners. Be prepared to break off some of the plastic tabs when disassembling the armrest for the first time. I used some screws to attach the plastic pad to the plastic armrest pad. This is not difficult and will greatly improve the appearance of the armrest.
