Speaks without dust. Unfortunately, I can't get a lot of dust and small lumps of granulate into the competitor's product. Coconut pieces are too small to retain moisture for more than a day with healthy ventilation.

I used this in my houseplants to keep my little one from playing in the mud. They decorate plants. For me it will last a long time so it was good value for money. Saying goodbye was a little difficult. But all in all I would buy again.

They are colored bright orange/red and smell artificial... maybe like an apple? For the price it seemed like a good deal so I decided to just wash the coconut a few times. It was an endless struggle and I never managed to get the water clearer than bright red!

Works as it should. Yes, the product has a small amount of dust. Yes, if you unpack it properly, it's clean too. I have used other brands and they also have dust on the compressed block. And it's all washed away when you unpack it. I give the product 10 out of 10 points.

I don't think they're real coconut shells. It's an odd red color and smell that's unlike any coconut shell I've used before and molded almost immediately, and I know coconut shells are pretty mold resistant as long as you don't over-soak the substrate. I need to replace everything and hope my snakes don't get hurt. Very unhappy.
