I travel a lot so I pack them in my SUV for the night. Since my SUV is difficult to see in the dark, I placed one on the dashboard where I only have to press a button. I can adjust the beam where I need it. This avoids having to reach for the courtesy light while driving. I mostly aim for the center console where there is no light. Reflection is low when the beam is red and aimed at the ground. I put another one in my truck. I'm planning to install another one in the back of my SUV for more illumination than a skylight which isn't very bright. You will need to get more double sided tape as the one provided is very weak. I used Gorilla Glue double sided tape. Now it doesn't work at all! LAUGH OUT LOUD.
