I have them in my basement and will be putting some in the garage soon. We had 4 inch fluorescent lights and they are much better. Also, I'm so glad I don't have to worry about my kids breaking one of those fluorescent lights. They are so bright (I have 2 in an 18" x 22" room) that we can see things we didn't see. ever seen in nooks and crannies! I look forward to working as a carpenter and not complaining about lack of light! I love how you can adjust to where you need the most light. You will be very happy with these lights!
