I'm crocheting more than ever these days and I wish I had a lighted crochet, but I didn't want to spend $10 on each needle like I thought I would. I want to use This seemed ideal as the interchangeable hooks and case meant more versatility and less chance of missing parts. Right out of the box I attached the largest hook to the handle and applied it to my latest project. The twine hits the base of the hook instantly - slots that accept the included tool to help you change hooks. I spent about thirty minutes experimenting with the crochet to see if there was a way to hold the needle to make better use of the space on the needle and not get caught in the groove. I didn't have much luck, although I did notice that moving my hand further down to minimize the hook helped, but it got quite uncomfortable as my hand moved out of the ergonomic grooves (fourth photo). Maybe it's because I have small hands or because I learned to crochet without holding my hand very ergonomically, but the finish is very disappointing. I'll keep trying to see if there's a way to get this to work.
