The instructions on the bottle were not very clear. So here they are: 1. Empty the water tank, remove the filter (if applicable) + any used coffee pods/K-Cups.2. Pour half a vial of solution into an empty reservoir.3. Fill the rest of the tank with water.4. Brew the biggest cup.5. Repeat step 4 until the water tank is empty.6. Fill the tank with water only.7. Repeat steps 5-6 three times. Continue brewing until the tank is empty, this will take some time. But after my first water-only brew, I noticed a difference in how much water was brewed in the cup. Before descaling, my coffee cup was about 6 ounces full (largest cup prepared). But after descaling it was almost filled to the brim. Huge difference!
