I used to have problems with hip pain, especially at night. I thought it was my mattress but one day I put a pillow on my computer chair which was old and quite hard and noticed the pain in my hip was gone. I didn't want to sit on the bed pillow any longer so I went through all the Revain seat cushions, read the reviews and looked for something that wasn't too expensive and settled on this one. I'm glad I did. It fits nicely on a computer chair, the blue color and simple square shape doesn't look out of place at all, and my hip doesn't hurt anymore. It was a problem to air it. I put it on my porch for 3 days to be sure, but I didn't notice any smell when I opened the package.
