Almost perfect watch then dead battery - update

I wanted a hybrid watch because the digital smartwatch novelty is outdated and I like being able to look at a watch to see the time and track steps and heart rate . I was hesitant to spend $90 on a watch from a company I had never heard of before, but there was a $30 discount on Black Friday and I took a chance. I'm very glad I did this. This watch has the look and feel of the quality and luxury of a $250 watch IMO. If you wear a business suit to work and would rather have a stylish watch than a crappy piece of expensive plastic on your wrist, then this is the watch for you. The battery life is excellent. I've had this watch for seven weeks now and have charged the battery twice but then a couple of the functions are off. However, not everything is so smooth, the date on the calendar is useless. The numbers are too small and set too deep into the watch to be read without a bright light and magnifying glass. I'm not particularly keen on the array of crystals arranged around the bezel, but my girlfriend loves it, so Nuff said so. The seller's announcement is somewhat misleading. You'll get notifications when you're within Bluetooth range of your smartphone, but you won't get the actual message on your watch. This hybrid smartwatch is smaller than many others, which is a plus for me. The seller uses the silhouette of a woman's hand to indicate the size, so I've included a photo of the watch on the hand. The watch strap has a hidden latch which took me a few minutes to figure out how to open and even longer to figure out how to close again. I have seen such a hidden clasp on a women's bracelet but not on a men's bracelet. The advantage here is that this latch has 2 links. So if your wrist is smaller than mine, you can easily remove one without going to a jeweler. Finally, you have to set the time manually because there is no time setting function in the app. To update. The battery is empty after six months and can no longer be charged. The manufacturer complains about the guarantee.
