Review on 🌀 Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000 PWM: Heavy Duty Cooling Fan for Optimal Performance and Cooling (120mm, Black) by David Weis

I received exactly what I expected. These are the first Noctua fans I've ever bought (bought 3). You can literally feel the difference in quality when you hold them compared to other fans and you can definitely tell that a lot of engineering and research has gone into their manufacture. They also come with rubber anti-vibration pads which can also be purchased separately in alternative colours. So I would recommend them to the average Joe Donut Bag who needs to replace the fan that has failed in the living room PC. Not really, these are high speed static pressure fans for water cooled or high fin density radiators. At full speed they are LOUD. After all, these are 2,000 fans. However, at low speeds with normal light loading/everyday use they are almost inaudible, apart from a faint motor hum that you should hear a few inches from the computer. I would say that most users looking for those special fans know what they are looking for and what they are getting into. Especially since they are optimized for static pressure and are more likely to be used for mounting on a radiator. That being said, Noctua has many different fans available for just about any purpose. Whether it's airflow optimization, static pressure, a balance of both, or something that balances quietness and airflow. You pretty much have an option for everything you could need if you can overlook some of the color options. I'm looking at you, brown and cream color scheme. Overall 5/5 from me. Yes, they can be noisy at full speed, but these aren't exactly the fans you're looking for if you're looking for complete silence.
