A pair of red-eared turtles breed in our pond. Surprise! Little did we know these two would even get along, let alone produce clutches of fertilized eggs. That is, until we found a baby turtle. Normally in the wild we let nature be nature. but this is our yard pond and late fall. This little turtle won't survive the winter. So we needed a home for the turtle. After a long session (several days) we found this setup. Excellent habitat for a growing turtle that meets all needs: - Pond - Swim platform - Feeding station - Ramp - Shelter (cave) - UV and heat lamp with cover (cat protection) - Easy to clean. We just added a small low water filter. (recommended)
