Review on πŸͺ‘ SIHOO Ergonomic Office Chair: Adjustable Sponge Lumbar Support, Comfortable Cushion High Back with Headrest and Armrests - Black by Tiffany Correa

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Painful ergonomics, cheap plastic parts, dangle, rip fabric and fall apart in 5 months.

I don't complain and I take care of my purchases. It's disgusting to spend a few hundred dollars on such an outrage. Five-star ratings are simply unthinkable. I'm 5ft 10 inches, normal weight. I pack carefully and study the adjustments. And I understand that every body is different, but that's the point. 1) Seat pad. Several centimeters thick. The back is unpadded, just cheap mesh. 2) The adjustable "lumbar support" is a 6-8" hard plastic brick that slides through the mesh and does not adjust high enough to accommodate the natural curvature of the spine of a person over 5'7". Also, since you can't set it deep enough in the lattice for it to go away, you're essentially stuck at the worst part of your spine, BELOW the lumbar spine, where pressure on the spine causes sciatica and below. Back pain is worse, not better. From the start I had to tie memory foam pillows to the seat and backrest to support it. 3) This backrest doesn't lock in a truly upright position (even when locked forward, it sags backwards.) So there's no point in sitting there straight unless your goal is to stargaze clumsily , shaky and inconsistent. ent (like everything else). Sometimes I manage to lean back completely, sometimes not. I've experimented with every imaginable combination of settings, but plastic is plastic - every screw can be tightened, every knob can be turned all the way, but it will always bend and give. 5) The padding on the armrests (rock hard) had already come loose from its attachment and was torn, so I patched it with leather to delay further tearing. My old office chair cost $90 and lasted 10 years. Sad. Don't do what I did - for something as important as your body, bite the bullet and pay $400 for a product that has the power and support it claims to have.
