I never thought it was possible to have strong feelings about dishes. Until I bought this product. This grapefruit spoon makes me mad every time I use it. Unfortunately I missed the return window but the fantasy of breaking it gives me great pleasure. It's really impressive how the designers managed to get everything wrong. First, it doesn't cut fruit well - either the teeth are too thick or too curved, but it shreds the pulp and squirts the juice everywhere. Second, the shape and proportions of the spoon bowl are wrong - it's both too narrow at the tip and too long. Third, the teeth are bent up in such a way that they scratch the mouth. Finally, the handle is too short to have good leverage for pulling out the sections, which wouldn't be a problem if it cut the fruit well to begin with. So you got it. Worst spoon ever. Oh, one thing is good - the stainless steel is of good quality and feels good in the hand. But it doesn't matter, because soon it will end up in the garbage.
