Description of 🥄 Quality Norpro Set of 4 Stainless Steel Grapefruit Spoons for Effortless Eating

Dig into that juicy grapefruit with the proper utensil!. Polished stainless steel spoons with serrated edges easily loosen grapefruit sections, designed to make eating grapefruit easier. Perfect spoons for getting every last segment of grapefruit from the skin. Also great for use with oranges and kiwi fruit and to scoop seeds out of cucumbers, pumpkins and squash. Dishwasher safe.

Too broad to be effective

I grew up in a grapefruit tree and ate a few grapefruits a day when they were in season, so I know a thing or two about grapefruit spoons. These Norpro spoons appear to be high quality, but the design is dead wrong. They are too wide, too round, too "spoon-shaped" to pick out pieces of fruit. This makes eating grapefruit very messy.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Concise instructions

much better than using a knife and regular spoon

They are great. They're totally unnecessary, but they work much better than using a knife and regular spoon. They slice the grapefruit perfectly and help you get the most out of your grapefruit. They make me eat more grapefruit. You save time and energy and do not cause any damage during use. You cut the grapefruit, not your mouth.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Suitable

Great spoons!: Grapefruit cutlery

Great spoons, they do exactly what they're supposed to. They make pammellos and grapefruits much easier to use. Beware, you slander squirting juice in your eyes when using them for juicy tasty fruit. I'm glad I bought them. The next ones I get will have a thick handle to keep me comfortable which is why I got a star rating. It can be hard on hands and fingers.

Pros
  • Positive reviews only
Cons
  • Available in black only

I use these wonderful serrated knives like grapefruit spoons to store nail polish and nails in the kitchen. I use them for many things. I mainly use them to peel lemons and oranges after cutting them in half. I like lemon mixed with water. I also used it for avocados. I am very happy with how they are made and how spicy they are. Be careful not to cut yourself.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Faulty

Grapefruit spoon - the product of the century!

I'm turning 67 this year and I'm writing this review about grapefruit spoons because to be honest I always thought that they were probably ineffective but still very status enhancing and pretentious about eating grapefruit. I now admit that I was wrong. I'm happy with the quality of these grapefruit spoons in terms of looks and weight, plus I'm particularly impressed with how they effectively slice grapefruit, creating more nutrition and less waste than I've been eating grapefruit for all these

Pros
  • Not fit for purpose for which it was intended
Cons
  • Nothing

Good but not perfect

My search for the perfect grapefruit spoon continues. Do not get me wrong. This spoon is very good. There are definitely worse spoons out there. Pros: The jagged edges are excellent. They easily penetrate the fruit. The pointed tip is really great for digging medium to large sized grapefruits. They look very nice in their restaurant style. In fact, it's not even a problem. The edges of the spoon are curved, making it difficult to transition from the fruit side to the bowl side. The same curve…

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Not sure

Where is my perfect match!

Like many of the reviews, I once had the perfect grapefruit spoon. Its edges were very sharp and never threw the sour sting of grapefruit juice in my eyes. Unfortunately, this holy grail of grapefruit spoons disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared in the abyss of my parents' desk drawer (although they would NEVER buy one and it literally did show up eventually). Shortly after I started looking for an equivalent which I was shocked to find it was a lot harder than I thought I mean how hard…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Minor issues

Worst spoon you've ever used

I never thought it was possible to have strong feelings about dishes. Until I bought this product. This grapefruit spoon makes me mad every time I use it. Unfortunately I missed the return window but the fantasy of breaking it gives me great pleasure. It's really impressive how the designers managed to get everything wrong. First, it doesn't cut fruit well - either the teeth are too thick or too curved, but it shreds the pulp and squirts the juice everywhere. Second, the shape and proportions…

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • It makes me angry
