My daughter's pony doesn't technically "need" a blanket other than the fact that she thinks she's half a pig. We've had some pretty crazy weather the past few weeks so I bit the bullet and bought her this size 51 blanket. Quality material and it fits like a glove. It even included a piece of cloth in case you ever need to patch it. The only thing I was initially worried about was that instead of leg straps he had a string under his tail, but honestly I'm pleasantly surprised! It doesn't slide back and forth at all and the cord will likely outlive any straps. (The loops are still there if you decide you prefer straps.) Definitely recommend this comforter.
