Nice action, terrible locking.
Very good hydraulic spring action has a very graceful stroke, ruined by a latch that catches on the seat bottom and stops it halfway. every time , since it is included in the countertop. For us, this actually makes it easier to use as you don't have to stand there and hold the latch open until it's fully open. Highly recommend this 'mod' as it can be run in seconds with a Phillips #2 slot and easily restore the original locking action.
