Review on 🌶️ Soothing Touch Deep Tissue Massage Gel - Cayenne, Cinnamon, and White Camphor - 64 oz by Dan Kedzior

Very strong odor and potential irritation

EDIT: I wanted to change my review again as I have used this product a number of times and warn others with sensitive skin that it may irritate your skin or cause a rash. I can't do more than three massages with this product without my hands getting red and bumpy. Now I only use this gel sparingly to work on a specific area. As a big fan of Soothing Touch massage lotions, I was so excited to try this gel. My favorite cinnamon based lotion from another brand was recently discontinued so I figured this might be a good substitute. So far my review is mixed: - The smell is incredibly strong. It's a very strong cinnamon scent compared to the other strong "gel scent" that almost smells like chemicals or plastic. I feel like the smell of the gel got a lot stronger after opening the bottle, I don't know why that is. I have a hard time using it during my massage just because the smell is so overpowering. The slip takes a little getting used to as it is a mixture of lotion and oil. Application is awkward at first and it's hard to do more than a light tap to apply the gel without sticking to dry skin, but as the gel sinks into the skin it becomes easier to work with. absorbed, and the warming properties are noticeable but not burning. - It's not that good for working with hands or feet as it doesn't penetrate well into rough skin. All in all it was worth trying something new and I will be using it for deeper fabrics. Clients, but I think I'll stick with my ST Lavender lotion as my main massage lotion.
