They do the job I got them for!
I use these racks in enameled cast iron skillets or slow cookers to raise chicken and roasts above the fat that builds up as they cook. Meat does not absorb fat. They do their job. I'm sure you could use them in large fryers. They appear to be well made and do the job I bought them for.
