This is a pretty good solution. In particular, I use it for steaming or smoking on the stovetop in a round closed pot. You're good for the job. Although it could be stronger - that is. Larger diameter wire. They fit all but the heaviest items and are reasonably priced.

I use these racks in enameled cast iron skillets or slow cookers to raise chicken and roasts above the fat that builds up as they cook. Meat does not absorb fat. They do their job. I'm sure you could use them in large fryers. They appear to be well made and do the job I bought them for.

I was looking for some nice round coasters to place tamales and crab legs over a pot of boiling water instead of using the big, long, rectangular cookie cooler I kept in my closet. This set is the perfect size giving you 3 different uses on different pots and super easy to clean and stack. Great price and very strong units.

I was worried I would be getting thin metal with very light welds. You know, push it the wrong way around and one of the wires will come loose. But when this package arrived I found the metal to be very thick, well soldered together and definitely a product I will be using for the rest of my days. life without replacement. 10 out of 10, highly recommended!

I just got these so haven't had a chance to use them yet. I was hesitant to buy them because I first read the reviews and several people said they were bent or broken at the solder joint. However, there were enough positive reviews and I decided to buy it. I am very happy with the heaviness of the metal and how well they are soldered. No kinks or breaks. I think they will hold up well. I liked that they came in three different sizes to fit my pots and pans. I am happy with this purchase.

I bought these canning racks. I have a large soup pot in which I cook jars for sterilizing. These shelves have held up well. You don't have rust yet. I've only used them once in a large pot of water and a large pan of water for a different size to cook the lids. I originally purchased ONE large stand from another source for more than the whole set. (It was defective so I sent it back.) This set of 3 shelves is perfect; No issues with the product, great price and I have more than one large that I need for a water bath tin can. The 7.5" fits my Instant Pot and the 9" fits my 8 quart pot.
