Review on Silicone Sculpting Shaping Modeling Sculpture by Michelle Langley

Handy tools for sculpting clay, epoxy or sculpture.

I used them to sculpt and epoxidize small figures. As a hobby I do lots of fun little projects - modifying miniatures and creating objects from scratch. As a kid, I just used paper clips, toothpicks, and popsicle sticks - whatever we had on hand - and eventually I realized that I'm a real adult, with a job, and I can buy real tools. I bought them because the price was good and there were many different sized tools so I could work with regular sized figures or small desktop miniatures. Too bad I didn't have these in college when I was doing ceramic projects; they would be great! So far so good - I've used them on two projects (of which I only have pictures). Rubber tools are great for smoothing clay and do a great job tearing off pieces from a sculpture, and also have enough power to easily detail details naturally. My only issue was that one of the rubber sculpting tools would fall apart when made directly on the metal handle sometimes, but that's easily fixed with glue or extra epoxy. For the price they are definitely worth it.

Use these for clay not paint.
