My cockatiel is old and doesn't like new things that much. I really wanted to give him a playground but the others were too busy and I knew I would never let him down. This simplicity is ideal for him. I was able to put him on the pole with no problem. He even ate from small buckets. Since then I've caught him walking along the floor and pecking at a metal tray. He hasn't really played with toys or climbed stairs, it's only been a few weeks and the fact that he went to her alone is huge. I recommend this product.
