We bought this RC helicopter after using an RC drone of a similar cost and size and wow, this is WAY MORE FUN. And it grabs much more attention by passer-byers also.100% assembled. You are ready to go out-of-the-box. Simply charge the helicopter (Note, an additional battery and screw driver to open cover are included) and add 4x AA batteries (not included) to the remote control.The parts and product seem sturdy and well built. Not flimsy whatsoever. The frame is built of alloy which is lite weight and strong. The controls were easy to understand.The target age range for this would be young teens on up. And at least a "beginner plus” level of experience with at least some cursory understanding of how RC remotes work. Example, in an RC car you turn left/right go left/right. In RC drones/helicopters you spin left/right to the preferred direction then press forward to go that direction. Easy to understand once you get the concept.Controls provided a stabilizer which is quite helpful compared to the drones/helicopters of yester-year. Thus, I spent less time finding stabilizing points and more time flying around. There is also a slow and a fast speed which is a great feature allowing you to get good at the controls and then, once comfortable, advance your skill.Product size is about 3 male fists together. Blades were soft and not overly dangerous. Because this is built to be a lite weight product the wind DOES impact performance. I would suggest nothing more than a lite wind when flown outside. On one full charge we kept this in the air for just over 10 minutes. This is actually better than I expected given the size and price point. The additional battery was a great added plus to extend the fun.All-in-all I was quite impressed with this product. I am purchasing another one for my father-in-law as a Christmas present.
