Review on Enhance Your Ironing Experience with the Sunbeam AERO Ceramic Soleplate Iron in Blue by Michael Bressler

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Irons should not be disposable.

**Updated after 21 months, this iron no longer works. heating stopped. I'm amazed why we can't get irons that last as long as the ones our moms had. First Review: Why did you design an iron with a spray button on the bottom of the handle? This makes it difficult to hold the pen and I have to be careful not to press too hard and accidentally hit the spray button. I rarely use the atomizer button because I don't like wasting distilled water and use a regular atomizer instead. The function I use is vapor release and this button is on the top of the handle and is awkward to use as I have to move my thumb to press this button. I wish people who develop irons would allow people like me, who still use an iron almost every day (I sew blankets and iron clothes), to test the product before they put it on the market. The iron itself is pretty good. It seems to spatter more than my old Sunbeam, but I haven't noticed any streaks yet. It's heavy, which can be a plus in the world of ironing. Weight helps smooth out wrinkles. The water tank is a nice size so I don't have to fill it up after ironing a garment and it's easy to see where the water level is. Smooth sole and lots of steam holes... I hope I can get used to the awkward button layout. Word of Sunbeam Corporation. Let me test your next iron design.
