Sometimes the mounting points provided do not match the specific piece of equipment being installed

I have used this twice and in both cases I had to cut and modify the frame and supports to make them work for my application. This involved removing a large portion of the interior to fit the intended radio and drilling special holes to install mounting screws for proper alignment. Honda Element 2003.
