Review on 👶 Sealy Baby Naturals Cotton Fitted Mattress Pad Cover Protector - White: Ideal for Toddlers & Babies by Monica Williams

I bought two of these after reading other reviews that they didn't have an ugly plastic backing. And they don't. They don't have a horrible plastic smell when they arrive and they fit very well in a crib mattress. They've been washed a few times and while they don't seem to be holding up/falling apart in any way, I have a feeling the upholstery has become dull. As a precaution, I should wash all linens in hot water to kill dust mites, but then I only put them in the dryer for 10 minutes before air drying. I will continue to use the two I have but will probably try a different brand if I need to replace them just to see if I can get fluffier padding. A final word of caution: this is for my 20 month old son. So I'm not afraid to smother him with thick padding. And the mattress we have is plastic-coated foam (although it's Green Guard certified, so the plastic doesn't release harmful chemicals) so I don't need waterproofing after waterproofing. My son definitely stopped waking up sweaty when I switched to them and he stopped sleeping on plastic on plastic. Overall I would recommend them for being plastic free and washable for the price but can also suggest comparing them to other brands.
