My newborn only slept with a sheet and a mattress, well sort of. She had a cradle, but when I felt it was time to change it, she hadn't had a 'duvet' for several weeks, and I didn't think it was right. I was skeptical at first but after reading other reviews I found out the price why not try it. And I'm glad I did! My 3 year old son is now back asleep in his crib after weeks of waking up in the middle of the night and only being comfortable on the couch. I've been looking for a mattress topper that doesn't contain plastic or a water repellent treatment for a long time. I do NOT want my kids to inhale chemicals all night while they sleep.
