Ideal for treating shingles

Years ago I was advised by a chiropractor to take lysine to treat shingles. Now, as soon as I feel the slightest itch at the site of a recurring shingles, I start taking these L-lysine capsules. No other medication is needed and the shingles will go away after a few days. If I get it fast enough, no bubbles form. Continue taking lysine for a few days after symptoms go away. One of the reasons I like the Life Extension brand is that the capsules are so much easier for me to swallow. Other brands I tried were in the form of giant pills.
