Arrived soon. Fits. The standard switches had a shorter plunger (don't know what to call it) made of black plastic and they look like chrome. never mind Apparently there are ceiling light switches in two different diameters. This is the smaller diameter I needed. Installation was easy. The OEM had 1 wire with a nut, the other was some sort of compression terminal block (don't know what to call it). This switch comes with stripped wire insulation so you can simply strip it off the wire and make the connection. This worked fine for the wire with the nut, and I just cut the other end off for a good connection in this compression block. In any case, it works fine.
