Real copying, it seems to me, is superior to any artificial tests. NTFS for Windows. The total time required to record a 5.5 GB video onto a USB 2.0 front panel HDD Sata drive is four minutes, with one minute dedicated to copy completion (copy window freezes, flash drive flashes). Exit velocity of 29 MB/sec. The time it takes to transfer a 5.8 GB movie from the same drive to the computer's USB 3.0 port on the back is 2 minutes and 15 seconds. - the final copy is complete. Exit at a rate of 59 megabytes per second. It's shorter (which is what I prefer)
