Works as expected and good customer service

I bought a 3000w 36v 60hz inverter. our power grid is regularly disrupted by strong winds and fires). In theory, I could run a more sensitive element, such as a computer, from this inverter. We use a 36V golf cart battery array that is still in the golf cart. Why not? It looks like a great PSU that is just idle 95% of the time. The delivery of the first inverter took about a week. Instead of connecting it directly to the batteries, we decided to make a cable with a charging connector on one end and then connect the other ends to the back of the inverter. We used #2 wires. This way I can just plug the device into the golf cart and then turn it on when needed. We've also updated the ports behind the charging port. The first block didn't work. We tested it on two different cars with different cables and connection points. The device cut out every time a load was applied and then slowly ramped up, but then cut out again at around 20V output. It turned out that a component of the voltage regulator was malfunctioning. We removed the lid to see if there were any obvious issues, but we didn't see any. So I emailed Reliable through Revain and got a response within 24 hours. After about half a dozen emails we couldn't find a solution so I was told they would ship a new inverter free of charge. The new device arrived just two days later. I connected it using the same DIY charging connector and cable and it worked great! I tested it first with a 1500W kettle. Has worked well so far. Then, while the water was heating up, I connected an oil heater with settings for 600w, 900w and 1500w. I went through the settings and looked closely at the device to see how far the output voltage would drop. On the 1500w setting I also ran a 1500w kettle for a total of 3000w to get the most out of the unit. It still worked fine, the output voltage dropped to around 108/109V which was within safe limits. The inverter's fans turned on, cooling the unit (which was also exposed to direct sunlight). Based on this test and the after-sales service, I am satisfied. You should be prepared to do a little troubleshooting with the company before they send out a new device, and that seems very fair. I haven't tested the device to see if it works on my computer, but plan to do so soon. My only hope is that it lasts a long time.
