I work my way up to the 200k grit on kangaroo strops. I never knew sharp until Mike Cassidy taught me about this stuff. Some of my knives can widdle in hair by dragging the hair lengthwise over the blade.I’ve ordered this stuff now 3 times. Doesn’t take a whole lot, so don’t paste it all over your strop like the green stuff.I also use this on basswood to sharpen some knives, which works wonderfully.Kangaroo works better. Too thick of a leather becomes pliable when stropping. You don’t need a huge strop, practice. Use latex surgical gloves, it’s diamond paste and you don’t want to accidentally get it in your eye or wipe boogers with it.I love this stuff, all the grits. No way paid me or gave me anything for this review.
