This is my first swim trunks so I wasn't sure what to expect or how to get the best fit. Good news: I'm really impressed with the quality and comfort of the material (especially at this price point). They seem to be durable. And of course the design is cool/sexy. Unfortunately they are just too tight for me. With a 30 inch waist, I (reluctantly) went for the S, knowing my butt is unusually large. They look great on me, but at the end of the day my balls hurt quite a bit, which isn't a problem. Will work for me (emotionally) Will buy an M one day.
