I don't usually write reviews but this alternator is the first I have ever tried and it has lasted me a total of 1 month with no problems. Everything went wrong for him. I double checked all the logs to make sure the wires weren't twisted and that a new battery was installed as the alternator had ruined another battery. And I just got back after the alternator broke my car tonight. I ordered a reliable new alternator from Rock Auto with no problem and I recommend everyone to do the same. This is for the D-frame alternator on my '99 Grand Marquis LS. I had no electrical problems prior to this alternator and in fact I have had nightmares since my installation on August 7th 2020. Less than 4 months! Truly unbelievable. If you had any inclination to buy, DO NOT.
