Review on Glamorous Prom And Wedding Dresses - Sparkling Sequins, Sheer Tulle, And Lace With A Seductive Deep V Neckline And High Split by Philip Berry

Looks like the picture! But doesn't fit well!

I purchased a standard size US 6 so I could take advantage of the prime benefits (free returns!).

I'm 5'2-3" ish, about 130 lbs, 26/27" waist and 34B and I think I got the perfect size! The bodice was gorgeous and the color (Champagne) was just as expected despite there being only one stock image. I really wanted to love this dress but just couldn't.1) The fit is just not flattering, makes you look wider than you really are, more from the back even than in the front2) the arm holes are just cut a little too small and a little too forward, causing the straps to feel like they're falling all the time (even if they might not be) and an unflattering gape in the back3) the thigh slit is WAY too high, it literally goes further up than your underwear and can easily shift to the middle of your body so that’s just a no-no but really easy to fix with a needle and thread4)Overall the quality is actually pretty good, the bottom half is thick and layered, it’s weird because the tulle is actually sewn to the lining at the slit, but I found two big beads that fell off the strings (and one was right in the middle of the bodice which is unfortunate)I didn't order custom sizing to feel a lot more secure in ordering my dress but if i kept this dress i would've needed to probably spend a lot in altering off the train and extra length anyways so honestly, custom sizing might be a good idea if you’re 100% confident in them, I have proof that this dress *does* look like the picture though!

Pros
  • The dress has a slimming effect on the silhouette
Cons
  • May be too expensive for some individuals' budgets
