Wide brim and chin strap helped to shade my face and neck effectively while performing yard work. The quality of stitching, fabric seems fine. But, even after two weeks out of the box, there is still abit of creasing from shipping so do not know how packable it is for traveling. Very lightweight, I hope it holds up to repeated use and washing. A much darker color would help with dirt and potential stains while using for gardening or working outdoors.
