May I start by saying that something just happens to you in life that surprises you at how well it works and how little it costs! This cleaner is one of them! I put some in a bowl. I took almost all of the hair out of my expensive Japanese round brushes and just tossed them in the solution! Then I just left them there for a few hours, I went in and moved them from time to time! I bought this little comb. Brush/stone on Revain. . Very cheap. I used this to free the brushes from the remaining hair stuck in the second row of low bristles. The color of the BTW solution has now changed from yellow to brown to almost black due to the root coating dye! I use (Clairol) that sticks to my brushes when I style my hair! I swear! Within 30 minutes. It's like I have BRAND NEW $70 brushes! No dirt, no stain! It removes oil and all kinds of deposits of any kind! I just had to rinse well with water and let it dry! I swear!
